Our policy of social responsibility and sustainability aims to ensure that we operate in accordance with internationally agreed principles for sustainable social, environmental and financial development. Our broad goal is to prevent and mitigate any negative impact on sustainability our activities may cause.
Vaekstfonden's efforts for responsible corporate behavior derive from our policy on social responsibility and sustainability, the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs) as well as the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises. Vaekstfonden is also a member of the UN initiative Global Compact, with its 10 principles for campanies' work with social responsibility. Financing is our core business, and we recognize and report to the PRI - Principles For Responsible Investment - and encourage our fund managers to do the same.
Diversity Policy
In continuation of Vaekstfonden's policy for social responsibility and sustainability, we have developed a separate policy on diversity. The policy must promote diversity and gender diversity in Vækstfonden's staff composition and within the companies Vaekstfonden finances. It is our ambition to ensure equal opportunities and conditions for all applicants and employees in Vaekstfonden, and Vaekstfonden expects the same from the partners and companies we do business with. Vaekstfonden also wants to be a role model and help increase the diversity of the ecosystem for entrepreneurship.
